Johan Rijswijck started Sapa Pana Travel in 2003. Passion for traveling, and discovering a market for beautiful journeys to this continent, made him decide. The name Sapa Pana Travel is carefully chosen. The words 'Sapa' and 'Pana' are derived from the Quechua, an indigenous language still spoken in parts of Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia and Argentina. In Quechua these words mean: The Unique Journey.

We organize individual tailor-made holidays, all your wishes are taken into account, premium group travel and exclusive car journeys, to special places in Latin America, the Caribbean and the Antarctic.

We believe that everyone can plan holidays. However, hitting the right chord leading to the ultimate experience is only possible with knowledge of the destination, own travel experiences, and above all... passion. We put together our extensive knowledge, our professional established network and our enthusiasm for Latin America to design the most interesting and most unique travel experiences.

Pricing
We strive for an optimized price/quality ratio. We do not compromise on the quality of the intinerary to propose you an itinerary with a more competitive price. However sometimes a smart planning can result in a cheaper price. However, we must vote in favour for every travel itinerary offered, because we like you to return as a customer in the future.

Sapa Pana Travel employees travel to Latin America aproxximatelytwo months each year. They also annually visit various trade fairs; WTM (World Travel Market) in London & Latin America, the ITB (World's Leading Travel Trade Show) in Berlin, the ILTM (International Luxury Travel Market) in Cannes and Pure Life Experiences in Marrakech.
