The Andean Condor is the largest flying bird on Earth. In Spanish, the Andean Condor is called; cóndor Andino.

However, the oppressors weren’t aware that these Inca’s were the last link in a long chain of age-old civilizations.

In Peru you can find countless relics of these cultures. In Peru’s north there are the temples of the moon and the sun; Huaca del Sol and Huaca de la Luna, and the grave of Sipán of the Moche culture. Also in the north, there are the ruins of Kuelap of the Chachapoyas culture. Finally, there is a lot of Inca archaeology to be found in Peru, especially in the area surrounding the Sacred Valley, with as its most famous example the ancient Inca city of Machu Picchu.

At the same time this genuine Andes country is a big must for lovers of nature. The country can roughly be divided into three climate zones with its desert like coastal strip, the capricious and impressive mountain landscape of the Andes, and the impenetrable jungle of the Amazonian area in the eastern part of the country.
