The most luxury and complete small-scale expedition ships

Hebridean Sky, with an ice reinforced hull, was built in 1991 and in the spring of 2016 the vessel is renovated for more than ten million dollar. A number of new amenities have been added, for example; the ship has a state of the art stabilization, which decreases the chance of seasickness. Furthermore, fuel efficiency and upgraded communications systems. The Island Sky was built in 1992, in the same Italian shipyard where the Herbridean sky was built a year before. The Island Sky was already extensive renovated in 2015 and more additional upgrades are planned, including the addition of tinted sliding glass doors to all cabins on the Promenade Deck.

Spacious and comfortable cabins

Both ships can accommodate up to 118 guest. Good to know, during expedition 3 there will never be more than 71 passengers on board, to increase the comfort abroad the ship. As a passenger you have the choice of 6 different categories of suites. All cabins are spacious and stylish and features a seating area, a private bathroom, a large window and two twin beds that can be joined to a queen-size bed upon request. Tip! Penthouse Suites and Veranda Suites (325 and 260 square feet, respectively) feature private balconies accessed via sliding-glass doors, and white-glove butler service.
