LatAm Cabrio Challenge

In 2008 we organized, at the request of initiators, the LatAm Cabrio Challenge. Our extensive specialization and the contacts we're having on this continent, made it possible for us to organize such a complex, but certainly challenging trip.

27 DAYS | 4 COUNTRIES | 13.500 KM

The LatAm Cabrio Challenge starts in the city of Belem. Belem is located in the northeast of Brazil. Via the Transamazonica and right through the Amazon, the Cabrio Challenge arrives in Foz de Iguaçu. In Foz de Iguaçu we visit the world famous waterfalls. The route continues via Paraguay, Argentina and Chile and finally we finish in Tierra del Fuego, the world's southernmost city of Ushuaia.

The Cabrio Challenge was held with 25 teams. The convertible 'Cabrio' car of the participants was shipped from the Netherlands to South America. Each team was responsible for the preparation of their own car. The journey was without competition elements. The aim for all; to arrive together in Ushuaia. Although participants were helpfull to each other in the situation of awkward stages, individual freedom was a paramount. The organization provided the route but teams were permitted to vary from the route.

Some quotes from participants, while en route;
" And we look back on a beautiful day, with our friends for life "
" Great day, great driving "
" We've done something that was considered impossible by others "
" We have achieved something what we will remember for ever "

Initiaters were Leasedeal and Autovisie.
