Pip keeps us company at the office. She has an affinity with travel, since she's born in Spain (oct.12). Along with her two brothers, then 8 weeks old, she was found in a box. Now we care for her and she is a very happy dog!

Luxury holiday Easter Island
Easter Island is undoubtedly the most remote place in the world...
It lies in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, about 3700 kilometres from the Chilean mainland and about 4050 kilometres from Tahiti. The island that was discovered at Easter in 1722 by Dutchman Jacob Roggeveen, is called Rapa Nui by its inhabitants. Although the island is part of Chile, the inhabitants don’t have the same ancestors as their countrymen on the mainland. The Easter islanders are descended from the Polynesians, who probably first set foot there in the fourth century AD. These first inhabitants are probably also responsible for the rock sculptures you can find all over the island. Opinions are still divided when it comes to how they actually made these gigantic sculptures.
Easter Island in combination with French Polynesia
LAN Airlines has good flight connections from Easter Island to French Polynesia. You’re so close now, visit these idyllic islands too! Situated in the Pacific Ocean and consisting of 6 island groups, the islands have a total surface area of 4000 km2 spread across 2.500.000 km2 of ocean. The capitol of Papeete lies on Tahiti. The (sub) tropical climate has a hot time of year November to March and a ‘cool’ time of year, with more rain, April to October.
A visit to Easter Island will require a lot more from your budget. Flying to French Polynesia adds even more to that. Is it worth it? Let one of our specialists advise you.
