    Impressive underwater world!

Fernando de Noronha is a group of 21 vulcanic islands that lies about 350 kilometres from the coast, in Brazil’s northeast. The water around Fernando de Noronha is one of the best diving spots in the world.

For everyone looking for peace in a truly magical setting of tropical rainforest, completed with an absolutely wonderful climate a stay on this group of islands is definitely a must.

Fernando de Noronha is home to about 230 species of fish, 15 kinds of coral reefs, five species of sharks, two types of sea turtles and spinner dolphins, a species of dolphin that only lives here and in the Pacific Ocean.

The number of visitors allowed on the archipelago is limited and visitors pay a so-called conservation fee, a form of tourist tax. Fernando de Noronha has about 2000 to 2500 permanent inhabitants.
