The surrounding landscape has been taken into account in everything. Maybe that is what makes Remota so attractive; its respectful attitude towards the environment.

German del Sol, a renowned architect from Santiago, designed this special hotel. The hotel, with 72 rooms, lies at the foot of the Torres del Paine Mountain Range and has a view of the Ultima Esperanza bay and the Balmaceda glacier. When it was being built a lot of the building material came by boat. The interior is a combination of luxury minimalism of the architecture and the vague utilitarian ambience of Patagonian sheds. Every room of about 34 m2 is comfortable and inviting.

The hotel offers guests and all-in programme, including all excursions. During the excursions with well qualified guides you’ll discover the limitless beauty of the landscape, learn to listen to the silence and most of all enjoy the majestic landscape. The hotel offers great hiking trails, mountainbike tours, fly-fishing and birdwatching. And for the real adventurer, the hotel offers a unique program for moutainclimbers. Explore the region on your own way.
