Friends for life
Since 2008, we have organised many different exclusive car trips to Latin America. These trips are made in a group and these journeys always result in special moments and also special friendships.
On the road with a group
So far, I have accompanied all the exclusive car trips we have organised with Sapa Pana Travel. And from my own experience, I can say that precisely these particular trips are very special to make in a group. From every trip friendships for life have emerged. I also still have contact with people with whom I have made these trips. Sometimes you do not speak to each other for years, but as soon as you see each other again, it is as if you were travelling together yesterday and immediately, memories will be recalled.
Special experiences
How is it that such strong friendships develop during these journeys? I think it is because you are on the road together and you are all active. After all, you drive your own car, and you have to follow the route, refuel and cross borders yourself. Teams often drive in groups of two or three cars together and on the way, you meet the others at petrol stations. Once you are on the road, things that do not exactly go as planned always happen. Earlier I wrote a blog about unexpected situations. Precisely these things make for special experiences, because people experience this together, help each other and thereby strengthen solidarity.
A bond for life
On the way, you are free. You drive along with others whenever you feel like it, but experience has shown that people sit down together at the table in the evening to talk about their experiences of the past day while enjoying a good drink. It is often the simple things along the way that make for unforgettable moments and when you share them together it creates a bond, in many cases a bond for life. These experiences and friendships make us love to organise these kinds of trips.
