Best travel time - for a luxury trip to Patagonia
The best time to visit Patagonia is from October to early May. The rest of the year is winter in Patagonia, which means lower temperatures and shorter days. Furthermore, there are fewer flights to the south and many accommodation options are closed. These months can be divided into three seasons:
- Spring: October to November
- Summer: December to March
- Autumn: April and May
The weather in Patagonia is unpredictable and the region is also known for having all four seasons in a single day. It is therefore advisable to dress in layers.
