Best travel time - and more travel information Costa Rica
You can travel Costa Rica well all year round. Being close to the equator, the country is almost always warm and has only two seasons.
In brief:
- The dry season runs from November to April;
- The rainy season is from May to October, don't be deterred from travelling during the rainy season, however, as showers are usually limited to the afternoon only.
- Temperatures fluctuate between 25 and 35 degrees all year round.
