Best travel time - for a unique voyage in Antarctica
The best travel period for Antarctica is from November to March, when it is 'summer' on the Antarctic continent.
Temperature
During this period, daytime temperatures on the Antarctic Peninsula are around 0 to 5 degrees, comparable to a winter sports holiday. However, the weather is changeable and you may experience different climatic conditions in one day, even during one landing. Sometimes, due to strong winds, the wind chill can be considerably lower, think about -18 º C.
Photography
Autumn, February and March, is the best travel period for taking even more beautiful photos in Antarctica.
