June 26th, only 3 months left before it starts! For the first time, our expedition-rally Latin AmeriCar will travel through the countries of Central America, a magnificent route that starts in Panama-City and ends in the capital of Mexico.
Some days weren’t just a challenge for the physical condition of the participants, but also for the condition of the old-timers. Thankfully everyone remains healthy and everything is going on schedule.
Is it possible to combine travelling and sustainability? At Sapa Pana Travel, we are convinced that it can be done. At least from our end we do everything we can to make sure your ecological footprint is as small as possible.
It’s incredible; this place is a feast for my depraved senses. The last hours before Ecuador the landscape was already turning greener and we were going uphill quite a bit. The shades of green that appeared before me were overwhelming.
Today’s trip was breathtaking (and not because of the thin air). Stunning mountain passes and plateaus. We also saw a lot of wild animals. At 4300 metres altitude at a mountain lake we saw flamingos, we didn’t expect to see those there.
We ended up in a traffic chaos that you had to smile your way through. We’d lost 2 cars within 5 minutes. The trick is to keep driving and hope that others stop. They usually do, about 5 centimetres from your bumper.
