From our own experience, we can say that Panama is an excellent country for travelling by rental car. The distances are short and the roads are in good condition. Drive along stunning routes along the Pacific coast and head further inland. With a rental car, you can decide for yourself how many stops you make and where you’d like to take a break.

Panama is a brilliant destination to visit with children. The country is relatively small, the roads are easy to navigate and there are no long journeys. What’s more, there’s plenty of fun to be had for everyone. Children will be amazed by the unfamiliar flora and fauna, whilst you, as a parent, can relax on the long sandy beaches. Chicken is also widely eaten, and by the sea, fish forms the basis of every dish. Finally, in Panama, you simply cannot miss out on delicious tropical fruit juices, and you can sample the popular local rum, Carta Vieja.
