With nearly 20 years’ experience organising cruises in the Galápagos, we know one thing for certain: not all Galápagos yachts are the same. Over the past few decades, we have seen a significant improvement in the quality of the boats, as well as an increase in living space on board. However, a beautiful luxury yacht alone does not guarantee an unforgettable cruise. The crew on board are invaluable. Your trip to the Galápagos archipelago will, in many ways, be an experience of a lifetime, and it would therefore be a shame if it were ruined by a poor nature guide, mediocre food on board or an uninteresting itinerary. We constantly monitor these standards and offer you only the best of the best, whilst keeping your budget in mind. Hermes Mega Catamaran
The renowned cruise line Via Natura is celebrating its thirtieth anniversary with the launch of the Hermes Mega Catamaran. This stunning vessel sets a new standard for luxury cruises in the breathtaking Galapagos archipelago. It is the first ultra-luxury cruise for the Galapagos Islands. With no fewer than eleven comfortable communal areas, including two bars, two lounges, a quiet library and an aperitif lounge, the Hermes offers plenty of opportunities for relaxation and socialising. Endemic
Attention parents with (young) children: you no longer have to spend the night separated from each other in separate cabins; the Endemic offers cabins connected by a connecting door. This allows for three- or four-person cabins to be created, so you can all retreat together in a ‘homely’ setting. A private balcony for every cabin, a spacious panoramic deck with a jacuzzi, a top chef and a cosy bar make the Endemic one of our favourite ships. The Endemic can certainly be described as a mega-catamaran; you’ll want to book this yacht if you love space and a stable ride on the waves. Whether you want to go paddleboarding, canoeing in glass-bottomed boats or snorkelling, the crew organises activities to suit everyone.

Cormorant II
If you’re looking above all for comfort and the ultimate experience on board your Galapagos yacht, then choose the MY Cormorant. At 33 metres long and 12 metres wide, this catamaran offers plenty of living space and a stable ride. The boat has a cosy interior, and the floor-to-ceiling windows in your cabin – as well as your own balcony – are a definite highlight. Do ask the crew to serve your breakfast out here and enjoy watching curious animals approaching whilst you tuck into your boiled egg. The sun deck is also very spacious and offers plenty of room for all guests. But don’t think that’s all – on the Cormorant, you’re also guaranteed a knowledgeable naturalist and enjoyable activities.

Galapagos Horizon
To make the sailing routes – particularly the night-time ones – as pleasant as possible for passengers, countless luxury catamarans have been built for the Galapagos Islands over the past few decades; these sit more steadily on the sea and thus guarantee a better night’s sleep. The Galapagos Horizon is the only trimaran operating here, making it the best of its kind in this respect! The yacht is also elegant, fast and extremely comfortable. It is largely owned by Galapagueños, thus ensuring a fair source of income for the local population.
