Since 2003, we have been organising trips to Latin America, where driving is often a key part of the itinerary. We believe that driving is the ultimate way to get to know and experience a region, country and/or continent.

Johan van Rijswijck, the founder of Sapa Pana Travel, has undertaken numerous (inspection) trips across the continent and has already covered well over 70,000 km. If you’d like, you can read more about this on his blog. In 2008, alongside our regular car hire and fly-and-drive routes – which you can find under the various destinations – we launched exclusive road trips for groups and individual travellers. In other words, is it your dream to take a road trip through Latin America in your classic or modern car, organised by us? We can make it happen for you!
We have organised highly successful (group) road trips of this kind in the past and, naturally, we would be delighted to tell you personally about our experiences and adventures. No two trips were the same, and the routes were different every time. The surprises we came across were also different each time.

Order the book ‘Panamericana Roadtrip’
The Volvo Classics Panamericana took place in December 2011 / January 2012. At the request of the organisers, we were given the opportunity to organise this road trip. It was a challenge from an organisational point of view – not always easy – but certainly achievable thanks to our in-house expertise and the hard work of our equally enthusiastic staff. Following the road trip, we produced a book about the journey.
