Best travel time - for a luxury holiday in Guyana
You can travel around Guyana all year round. The best times to visit are from February to April and from September to November.
In short:
- June – August: summer rainy season, with heavy rainfall, particularly in the interior
- December – January: shorter rainy season, with less heavy rain than in summer, but some areas may be difficult (or more difficult) to reach
- February – April: the drier season, a good time to travel
- September – November: a relatively dry period, with often pleasant temperatures; travel conditions are good
