Roos van Zoggel

In 2019, driven by my passion for travel, I began studying Tourism Management at Breda University of Applied Sciences. During my studies, I came into contact with Sapa Pana Travel, where I completed my work placement. After my work placement, I was still mad about Latin America, so I decided to stay on and work there. With my degree in hand, it was then time for my first trip to Latin America. I set off for Panama and Costa Rica, two stunning countries that I fell in love with straight away. The wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, the stunning natural beauty and the friendly people immediately left me wanting more. My favourite memory from this trip was canyoning in La Fortuna, Costa Rica. Abseiling down waterfalls in the midst of unspoilt nature was an experience I’ll never forget.

My Unique Journey is an adventurous trip full of encounters with the local people. I believe that people reflect the story of a country like nothing else, which is why I always find it fascinating to chat with the locals. I love discovering the diverse customs, traditions and cultures that make every country so unique.
