Thanks for the beautiful trip through Peru!

Everything was perfect! We really enjoyed what the versatile Peru offered us this trip.
- Nature: desert, mountains, rainforest,
- The animals: penguins, sea lions, pelicans, flamingos, condors and we even saw a black bear on our way through the wilderness to Machu Picchu!
- The colorful people: in many different kinds of costumes,
- Food & Drinks: from guinea pigs, alpacas and coffee to avocados, chicha and pisco sour,
- The historic sights: Machu Picchu, Nazca lines, the mummy girl Juanita,
- And; we have walked an incredibly challenging alternative Incatrail! Across the mountains, over 4900m and in the middle of nowhere. Here we set up our tent camp for a peaceful night's sleep. Just like 'our' donkeys ...
The highlight of our trip was the stay with the host family on Amantani. This experience taught us to appreciate the simplicity of life again. Attached a picture of our host family; Grandma, Nelly and Louis. Grandpa had left early to work in the weaving mill.
The 3 weeks were way too short to fully absorb those beautiful impressions.
