Especially if you travel with young children, Argentina is an ideal destination. There are plenty of excellent accommodations for families. Brazil is an ideal destination for families with teenagers. You can travel all year round. In the summer holidays you can visit the Pantanal and the Amazon, where you can see a lot of wild life. Ecuador

Traveling through Ecuador is suitable for every age. It is the smallest country in South America, but it has a very rich and diverse nature. Guatemala en Belize

We mention these two neighbouring countries in the same breath, because it is the perfect combination for a wonderful family trip. Both countries are quite small, so easy to travel. They are varied with culture, nature and activity. They give an enchanting feeling and when visiting some Mayan cities you will imagine yourself to be Indiana Jones. Off the coast of Belize you will find the second largest coral reef in the world, one of the most beautiful places to snorkel. Tip: use the spring holiday to visit Guatemala and Belize. Mexico

Mexico has something to offer for everyone. There is a lot of variety in culture and nature. You can undertake many activities and from a culinary point of view it is one of the most versatile destinations. Nicaragua

In terms of landscape and accessibility you can compare Nicaragua with the much better known neighbouring country Costa Rica. A big difference is that besides nature Nicaragua also offers history and culture. For example, Granada and León are two beautiful colonial cities you can visit.
