An unforgettable trip of Mexico!
In February–March 2018, we went on a fantastic trip of Mexico. The trip was fully tailored to our wishes by Sapa Pana Travel. Everything was perfectly organised: the airport pick-up, the hotels we stayed in, the private guides we had at some locations, and the rental car we used to explore Mexico. Absolutely everything was well organised and ran smoothly and on time.
We started our trip in Mexico City. A fantastic city that’s a must-see! We then took a domestic flight to Tuxtla Gutiérrez. A rental car was waiting for us at the airport. Our road trip could begin, with our first stop being San Cristóbal de las Casas, and on the way we visited the Sumidero Canyon. Over the course of three weeks, we visited Palenque, Campeche, Mérida, Chichén Itzá and Tulum at a nice, leisurely pace.
Travelling by car went perfectly – highly recommended! Of course, the roads aren’t in the best condition everywhere, but as long as you bear that in mind, it’s no problem at all. The stories about roadblocks, having to pay bribes and so on are just tall tales. We met friendly, kind and helpful people everywhere we went. We had an unforgettable road trip through Mexico!
