We want you to enjoy Latin America as much as we do ourselves!

Our Brazilian Wilderness Expedition

| | |

At my request, Sapa Pana Travel put together a wonderful four-and-a-half-week nature trip. We began the trip with the Tucano Amazon Cruise in Manaus. Among other things, we saw lots of dolphins, monkeys, birds and sloths. After that, we visited three lodges over two weeks in the Northern and Southern Pantanal. We saw a great deal of wildlife, including ocelots, jaguars, a puma, anteaters, birds, monkeys, tapirs and so on. Our final nature destination was the Cerrado. There, we spotted maned wolves four days in a row. The lodges – Pousada Pequi, Araras (Pantanal) and Trijuncao (Cerrado) – were fantastic, including the guides and the food. Fazenda San Francisco in the Pantanal was a bit more crowded and hectic, partly because there were children there too, so we didn’t enjoy it quite as much. We rounded off our trip with three days in Rio, a wonderful city.

I had very pleasant and close contact with Petra from Sapa Pana Travel beforehand. She handled everything professionally and to our complete satisfaction. I had very specific requests and she ultimately managed to tailor them into a perfect itinerary.
