During this special trip, you as a car enthusiast will get to know Argentina and its famous wine region in a unique way. From Buenos Aires you fly to Mendoza where your classic car is waiting for you. In the evening, the Rally de las Bodegas starts with a festive opening. The next two days you are driving the Rally de las Bodegas. You will drive through the landscapes of the province of Mendoza. Here you will pass vineyards and wineries from the best wine producers in the world, with the peaks of the Andes mountains on the background. After the rally you will stay in Casa de Uco, a unique accommodation in the Uco valley. Your journey ends in Buenos Aires with a visit to one of the best tango shows in the Argentinian capital.

Day 1 | Amsterdam (or another airport) - Buenos Aires

Your special trip to the most famous wine region of Argentina starts today. You depart from an airport of your choice and arrive in Buenos Aires the next morning.

Day 2 | Buenos Aires

Early in the morning you will arrive at the airport of Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. A local employee will be waiting to take you to your hotel. If desired, an early check-in is arranged for you, so you can immediately enter your hotel room. You will stay at the Park Hyatt Palacio Duhau. This very luxurious hotel is located on 'Avenida Alvear', centrally situated in the beautiful neighbourhood of Recoleta and close to luxury boutiques and the better restaurants. In the afternoon you will be picked up from your hotel by your guide who takes you along the highlights of this beautiful city. During this walk you will visit the Plaza de Mayo, where Evita once spoke to her people, La Boca; the working-class area, Plaza San Martin and Recoleta. In the evening you can enjoy a three-course dinner in the Gioia Restaurant of your hotel.

Day 3 | Buenos Aires - Mendoza

After breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to the airport for a domestic flight to Mendoza. A local employee will be waiting for you and you will be transferred to your hotel. Your classic car for the coming days is already waiting for you. In the afternoon the car is inspected by the organization and you have to register for the rally. In the evening, the Rally de las Bodegas is opened in a festive manner with a dinner.

Day 4 and 5 | Rally de las Bodegas

These days you are driving the Rally de las Bodegas. More than 700 kilometers are covered and there are enough stops along the way to enjoy gourmet food, Polo exhibits and visits to wineries. Driving in your classic car, you will drive through the landscapes of the province of Mendoza. Here you will pass vineyards and wineries from the best wine producers in the world, with the peaks of the Andes mountains in the background. The atmosphere is relaxed, but do not lose sight of the competition element. The rally ends with a festive dinner on the last evening.

Day 6 | Mendoza - Uco Valley

After the impressive rally of the past few days, you will be met at your hotel in the morning and taken to your accommodation in the Uco Valley. This valley is about a 1.5-hour drive from the centre of Mendoza. You will stay in Casa de Uco. The passion for design and architecture is combined with the love and appreciation for good wines. Moreover, the owner of the accommodation, Juan Tonconogy, is an avid car enthusiast. He himself has been riding the Rally de las Bodegas for years and has won the Mille Miglia in Italy three times already. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the hotel staff, who consider service of paramount importance. Furthermore, a cocktail workshop is scheduled for this day. Together with one of the sommeliers you will make several cocktails that are on the menu of Casa de Uco. They will not be complicated cocktails, but very tasteful creations that you can also make at home for family and friends. In the evening you will enjoy a culinary dinner, where you will be taken on a gastronomic journey during a six-course dinner with matching wines so you can get acquainted with the special wines of Casa de Uco.

Day 7 | Uco Valley

Start the day with an á la carte breakfast while enjoying a beautiful sunrise. After this it is time to start the day actively, with a guide taking you on a hike through the landscape of the Andes Mountains. After this you will be introduced to the vineyards of Casa de Uco together with a wine connoisseur, where you will learn more about the secrets of producing the perfect grapes for a good glass of wine. Take a look in the winery where you can of course taste some of the wines. Lunch is served in the middle of the vineyard, a typical asado (Argentine barbecue). After an active day it's time for some relaxation during a 60-minute massage, after which you can relax at the spa. In the evening you can have an á la carte meal.

Day 8 | Uco Valley

After breakfast you will set off again for a visit to a winery, where you will be taken to the top floor. Here, while looking out over the wine tanks where the wines are maturing, you will discover the complexity of the production process and get to know the various elements involved in making a quality wine. After the explanation, you will of course also have to taste these wines. For lunch you will be taken to Los Chañares, a nature reserve on the estate of Casa de Uco. To reach this beautiful location you will get on a horse and go horseback riding for about an hour. Upon arrival one of the chefs of Casa de Uco will be waiting for you with a delicious lunch. The afternoon is free, play a game of tennis or relax by the pool. In the evening, take a seat in the restaurant for an á la carte dinner.

Day 9 | Uco Valley

After breakfast you will set off again for an active hike through the Andes Mountains. In this area there are countless beautiful routes for hiking, with the Andes as a backdrop. In the afternoon, together with a chef from Casa de Uco, you will roll up your sleeves to prepare a meal using ingredients from your own vegetable garden. If you want to gain some experience in the fine art of Argentine cuisine, this is your chance!

Day 10 | Uco Valley - Mendoza - Buenos Aires

After breakfast you will be transferred to Mendoza Airport from where you will fly back to Buenos Aires. You will be transferred to your hotel upon arrival. In the afternoon another city tour is planned, during which you will visit the so-called forgotten neighbourhoods, far away from the tourist part, with beautiful buildings with special stories. Barracas, Nueva Pompeya, Parque Patricios and Boedo are the decor of old factories, workers' houses, remarkable churches and beautiful parks. Here you will find many street art and traditional bars where you can learn about the history of some of the most notorious inhabitants of the city and their secret societies. You will take a trip back in time with special stories of the city workers who founded the city, built trams and railways and who introduced the tango and football for which the city is so famous today.

In the evening you will be picked up at your hotel and taken to the Rojo Tango of the Faena hotel. This tango show is known worldwide as one of the best in Buenos Aires and has already won several awards. While enjoying a delicious dinner you will be treated here to performances of the best tango dancers. Afterwards you will be brought back to your hotel.

Day 11 | Buenos Aires - Amsterdam (or another airport)

At the end of the afternoon you will fly back home. If desired, a late check out will be arranged for you. In the early afternoon you will be picked up from the hotel and taken to the airport. Here you board the plane that takes you back to Amsterdam.

In the morning you arrive at Schiphol
