Dining at Pueblo Garzón
The village of Pueblo Garzón is unique and special for anyone seeking a peaceful connection with nature. Even the world-famous Argentine chef Francis Mallmann fell in love with this place. In 2004, Francis Mallmann opened a restaurant here. Pueblo Garzón is expected to become Uruguay’s premier culinary hotspot. The nearby vineyards and olive groves certainly complement all this perfectly. We would be delighted to arrange a fantastic wine and olive oil tasting for you in this region.

Posada el Balcon del Abra
Art is very important in Uruguay. In Montevideo, for example, you can go on an art trip and stay at Playa Vik in a room designed by a Uruguayan artist. If you’re travelling from Montevideo to Punta del Este, do stop off at Punta Ballena, where you’ll find Casa Pueblo. It’s a unique and extravagant building, designed by the artist Carlos Páez Vilaró. The building was originally designed as the artist’s summer home, but is now a museum. What’s more, it offers a magnificent view of the Atlantic Ocean.
