Together with Petra from Sapa Pana Travel, we put together a truly wonderful family holiday. She listened carefully to what we wanted, and that’s how we ended up with a three-week trip of Colombia. The mix of cities and nature reserves is just perfect.
We booked our trip of Suriname with Sapa Pana Travel more than half a year before departure. We had plenty of time to prepare and do our research, so our expectations were naturally high.

I was inspired by the Flemish TV docu 'Sergio over de grens'. The famous chef Sergio Herman who in each episode invites friends to explore a part of the world culinary. I decide to go to Central America for 2 months.
We were after a different kind of holiday, something far from the usual. We wanted to drive from Santiago, Chile, down through Patagonia to the bottom of the world. It wasn't easy to find a travel agent who could make this happen.
The visit to the coffee region was very beautiful, and the excursion to La Carbonera was a very special experience. It felt like a trip back in time to Jurassic Parc.
