If you’re travelling with young children aged between 0 and 5, one major advantage is that you can still travel outside the school holidays. Good preparation is key to travelling stress-free and making the most of your trip. We therefore recommend that, when choosing your destination, you take into account avoiding extreme climate fluctuations and the possibility of travelling at high altitudes; and if you are travelling with a son or daughter under the age of 3, you may wish to consider bringing a travel cot with you.

Argentina is an ideal destination, especially if you’re travelling with young children. There are plenty of excellent accommodation options for families with young children. What’s more, it’s an ideal destination for travelling by rental car, which gives you plenty of flexibility. Please note that it’s winter there during our summer holidays; if you’re travelling with young children who aren’t yet at school, you can travel outside the school holidays. If your children are not yet of school age, Chile comes highly recommended! As you are not tied to school holidays, you can visit the country at the best time of year, whilst avoiding the peak season.
