In 2011–2012, I took part in the Panamericana Roadtrip alongside 83 classic Volvos. We’ve written down our experiences and compiled them into a book. You can now find the individual articles on our blog. This time, we’re looking at the border between Chile and Bolivia.
‘What a wonderful country!’ This week, Johan is on a destination visit to Colombia, where he is attending a trade fair in Bogotá to gather inspiration and meet our partners. He’s also exploring new places.
One of those places that has truly amazed me is the Bolivian salt flats and the surrounding highlands. As far as I’m concerned, it’s one of the most beautiful places on earth!
My favourite places are those where, as soon as you arrive, you feel as though you’ve stepped back in time. The romance of the old, plastered walls and the cobbled streets. I’ve listed five of them here.
After a nine-hour flight, the aeroplane begins to descend. The aircraft dips beneath the fluffy blanket of clouds and, from my window, I can see endless greenery.... Just a little while longer and we’ll be landing in Suriname
We’d been planning a trip to Baja California in Mexico for years. We hadn’t heard of Sapa Pana Travel before, but we’ve been very satisfied from the very first contact right through to the last.
We can look back on a fantastic three-week holiday in southern Brazil. We highly recommend this varied trip!
