What a fantastic and diverse country Costa Rica is! The natural scenery and wildlife are breathtaking, the weather was lovely (rainy season), the food was delicious, the people were friendly, and the country is also very clean!
We end our trip just as we began: at a leisurely pace. From the hustle and bustle of Rio, we drive to the charming town of Paraty, with its colonial charm. Here, too, we meet some fantastic guides once again and take the time to relax.

Just over an hour’s drive south of Mérida, the capital of the Mexican state of Yucatán, lies the picturesque town of Maní. On 18 October 2020, the town was awarded the title ‘Pueblo Mágico’ thanks to its historic church and beautiful colonial centre.
As a child, I often looked up at the stars, searching for the constellations I could spot. The idea of spending the night surrounded by nature always appealed to me, but I’d never imagined that spending the night in the desert would also be possible.
